Mouse Bag

Look who we met during our recent visit to gardens in Ayr :) We knew that during the lockdown some of the wildlife recovered in towns and cities, but we didn't expect a meeting like that. 

Washpapa Mouse is a very rare animal, but hopefully we will see more of them in the nearest future.

As you can see, she even let me hold her for a photo before she hid again among the bushes and flowers.

No, actually that is a lie. The Mouse asked if she could go to Glasgow with us and try all of this fancy 'city girl' life, you know, like visiting cafes, clubs and galleries. I didn't have the heart to tell her that we are still in a kind of lockdown and our social life is very limited, but we took her anyway and now try our best to keep her entertained.

So... Please, meet my little companion :)

 

P.S. Can you tell that lockdown impacted my sanity? ;)
