Jack the Rabbit Bag
When I found this Jack Rabbit fabric from Voyage I couldn't resist. I already have quite a big stash of fabrics but... Well, I am sure some people will understand ;)
I love strong colours but I think this watercolour painting of the rabbit is really adorable. It reminds me our adopted rabbit Charnuska.
To make this round bag I used one of the PDF Sewing Patterns and adjusted it to make it more spacious.
I matched the linen look fabric with natural cork Corko in chocolate colour. This time I chose golden hardware to compliment all those warm autumny colours.
I also managed to find a perfectly matching strap made of pleated waxed cords (available here).
And of course, because more is more, I added a trim of khaki coloured pompoms.
The bag is lined inside and has a small pocket. I was lucky to find matching fabric among my remnants.
I am very pleased with the final effect. What do you think?
beautiful
