Beehive Bag
This time I decided to play about with the drawstring bucket bag pattern and came up with this funky Beehive Bag.
I made this bag a while ago but didn't want to share it before the Rocket Bag (Torebka Rakieta) tutorial was published, because it involves similar shape idea and I didn't want to spoil the Rocket Bag effect ;)
So there it is, another variation of the cone shape used in one of my bags.
The body and the cone are topstitched to give more texture and the 'beehive look'.
The whole idea of the beehive came to me because I was looking for a suitable shape of the bag to compliment the honeycomb printed fabric.
I also added a bee-shaped brooch in matching colours.
Also, I don't know if you noticed, I was lucky enough to acquire a golden Washpapa (washable paper) with sort of irregular honeycomb pattern on it. There was not many pieces of this kind of Washpapa as I got it on the sample sale.
Save the bees!
