Every time I choose a fabric to make a bag, I think “that’s my favourite one” - until I head to the shelf to pick another fabric that I also think is quite something. That shouldn’t surprise me really. After all, I am choosing all the fabrics I buy. But, because of the size of my fabric stash, it sometimes feels like I’m rediscovering some patterns again.

Anyway, this ‘Candy Shop’ bag is definitely the most delicious I’ve made so far.

The fabric is waterproof, the corners are enforced with green Washpapa (kraft paper/vegan leather) and it has metal bag feet.

I made matching handles so it can be carried in one’s hand as a fancy handbag, but I also added a long, adjustable strap so it can be turned into shoulder or cross-body bag.

I chose fuchsia pink lining with lime green inner pockets. The bag is closed with a zip to keep all the valuables safe. 

Are you salivating yet? ;) I must admit that this pattern definitely makes me feel hungry but also reminds me of all the sweet colourful food I loved eating as a child. And, if you are into healthy food rather than sweets, there are some juicy fruits here as well, so it is all covered for everyone's taste! What’s not to love?
