Yurt Cork Bag

So I won't lie to you by claiming that the yurt tent was an inspiration for this bag. No, it was a thought that came when I was looking for a name. The actual inspiration was... a cone!

This time I was determined to finally use this beautiful embossed natural cork leather from Corko - brown crocodile. 

 If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram, you will know that I created a poll and invited the audience to help make a choice: which colour of pompoms should I use with this new bag - turquoise or orange?

It was very nice to see the response and, by 'vox populi', I used the turquoise ones. 

So there you go, I hope you like the final effect too.

The pompoms match the strap and zip perfectly.

I am in love with the crocodile cork leather, not only because it looks amazing but also because it is a cruelty-free alternative to real crocodile skin (yes, so-called real leather was once someone's skin) but also an eco-friendly alternative to PU faux leather (which I also use, but it is nice to have a greater choice.)
