Holiday stripes, ropes and tropical leaves

Today’s post will be very short as I am on holiday and well, sun is calling me outside! 

Just wanted to quickly share my newest bag creation. I made it before the holiday, particulary to test new rope handles that are very trendy this season (although they are always trendy during the summer really).

To make this bag, I used a really cool waterproof fabric from Inny Wymiar Szycia and combined it with black aged Washpapa (washable paper). 

I added a black tassel trim because I love all sorts of decoration. Also, you must have noticed that tassels and pompoms took over the summer fashion (at least in UK).

So here it is, the summer beach bag with probably the most fashionable pattern of the season - tropical leaves. 

Also, I discovered that it is not easy to take photos in a strong, morning sun. 

Not to mention avoiding random people in the photograph. But we did our best.

Of course, the bag is lined and has internal pockets to keep bits and bobs handy.
