Zebra, monstera and palm velour skirt
Zebras aren’t normally found in tropical forests,
but I’ve got such a wild(life) imagination that I brought them together in this
pretty skirt with small double folds.
Despite the sunshine look, the main body of the
skirt is made of an upholstery velour fabric that can also be used to cover a
chair or sofa.
However, considering it rarely gets terribly warm
here in Scotland, it is still a fabric, while heavier than average, that can be
worn during the summer months.
The Tropical Leaves fabric is a print featuring
monstera (yes, those are getting everywhere these days) and palm leaves in a
mixture of yellows, greens, pinks and blues.
It is bordered by a zebra print, also in velour, at
the waistband and bottom, which is decorated with rows of pink and khaki
pompoms, plus green and red ricrac.
So Tropical Leaves and zebra prints come together delightfully
in this upholstery velour fabric skirt with small double folds.
