Spring Bugs Bucket Bag
As much as I
love winter, especially frost and snow, I don’t really enjoy the kind of
weather that Scotland has to offer any more. While recent days have been more
to my taste and the days have became longer and little bit brighter, I have started
longing for spring.
Having
ordered and received all my spring/summer patters, why wouldn’t I want nice
warm weather already?
So I
decided to kick off with my first really ‘springy’ design this year.
I made this
oversized bucket-style bag using waterproof polyester printed with bugs, beetles
and floral patterns on the white background.
For the
bottom of the bag, I chose Washpapa dyed in a juicy green colour. As standard,
I added bag feet for even more protection.
Of course,
it wouldn’t be a real springtime design if I hadn’t decorated the bag with
colourful pompoms and ricrac ribbons. I love pompoms and I am not ashamed of
it.
This time,
I tried a different type of bag handles. I used silver oval frames mounted
directly into the fabric and think that such handbags are very glamorous and elegant.
I am sure
you will get a lot of attention while walking and swinging such a colourful bag
in your hand. But, don’t worry, if the bag gets too heavy, I added a practical,
adjustable strap so you can rest it on your shoulder and enjoy free hands walk.
As the bag
is oversized, that means it has a lot of space inside. Of course, I added a colourful
waterproof lining and small internal pockets too. And all your belongings will
be safely secured with the green matching zip.
Spring into
action. Order yours today.
