Mehndi and cork: a marriage made in heaven
This beautiful waterproof polyester fabric from dresowka.pl
deserves a big canvas and
this oversized, spacious tote bag design allowed to make the most of it.
In turquoise blue with golden swirls, it is
inspired by Mehndi, the ceremonial body art traditionally used for weddings in
India.
I think it is a marriage made in heaven - as are the handles, which combine the Mehndi fabric with Aged Sahara Washpapa that matches the cork below.
Big silver oval eyelets from Inny Wymiar Szycia add a touch of class and strong functionality.
There are two large outer pockets to give it
greater versatility and, inside, it is lined in silver waterproof polyester
with two more, smaller, turquoise pockets (waterproof fabrics also from Inny Wymiar Szycia.)
It is reinforced on the base by a cork fabric and metal bag feet.
I hope you’ll agree that it is a real corker.
