Hare today, gone tomorrow

Yes, I know it is summer now, but I couldn’t resist using this Spring Hare pattern for my latest rope-tie/drawstring backpack.

I hope you agree it was no hare-brained scheme to use this pretty cotton fabric from Lewis & Irene with its little chocolate boxing hares, flowers and leaves on a pink background.

As with my previous backpacks, the base is reinforced with Aged Washpapa, this time in matching chocolate. It also has a matching cotton lining.

 

Lewis & Irene designs are usually only available for a limited period, so this will very likely be a one-off. 

   

You would be as mad as a March hare to miss out!
