Drawstring Canvas Backpack - Rosenrip
Whether you call it a rope-tie or drawstring backpack, or a duffle bag (see me previous blog), you will probably be familiar with the distinctive cotton fabric if you have ever been to Ikea.
Called
Rosenrip, the design takes its name from an ornamental shrub, part of
the vine berry species, that somehow found its way from
California/Mexico to Sweden - and somehow manages to continue blooming
in that much hardier climate.
Ikea’s
floral design of reds, greens, yellow and mustard are striking on their
black background and I’ve combined it with Aged Black Washpapa to
provide extra strength to the base. Together, they make the bag both
lightweight and durable.
Like
my previous backpack, this is the ideal no-nonsense bag whether you are
heading to the gym, running, cycling, or doing a bit of sightseeing.
