Rosalinda the Garden Angel

I am sure that most of you have heard about Guardian Angels, but have you ever heard about Garden Angels? Rosalinda is one.

 

Who are they, you might ask? They are fairy-like, long-legged creatures with little wings and, as soon as spring bursts into the bloom, you can meet them working hard in all the gardens. Okay, maybe sometimes they just lounge and enjoy themselves, but even then, they make sure that all the plants grow safely and beautifully. 

You say, you have never seen them? Oh, that must be because they are very shy and, as soon as they hear human voices, they hide behind the nearest bush. 

If you want to spot a Garden Angel one day, you need to be very quiet, so quiet that you can hear your own breath, and sit in the middle of the garden and wait. You might first hear squeaky giggles, but if you are lucky, the Garden Angel eventually will welcome you!

Sometimes it happens that too many angels look after one garden and some of them go on a venture looking for a new place that needs them. That is the case with Rosalinda at the moment. 

She decided to find a new favourite place. Although her favourite flowers are roses (look at her cotton dungarees!), she has got a great knowledge about all the plants and could help some lovely gardener in their little flowery or veggie kingdom :)
