Here's a ray of light to brighten any winter blues.




The island of Burano is famous for colourful houses that emerge like a living rainbow from the Venetian Lagoon, so where better to showcase this pretty digitally-printed cotton drill half-circle skirt?

Looking flowery from a distance, the pattern is actually created using a photograph of my Capricho soutache necklace. How's that for recycling?
It is said that Burano fishermen painted their buildings so brightly so they could see their homes from the sea. I think you will agree that this skirt would also help you stand out from the crowd.
Venice and its surrounding islands were not only a great place for a photoshoot but have of course been an inspiration for many artists, so you won't be surprised to hear that it has provided plenty of inspiration for future Tocha's World projects. Stay tuned...
