Black Meadow
I
usually have good fun making up names for my new designs. This time, I
was going to just make it a straight forward 'white rabbit bag',
but then it clicked that rabbits spend a lot of time in the meadows and
that 'black meadow' sounds like 'black widow'. I quite like black
humour, so there you go.
I
bought this printed cotton fabric at Remnant Kings in Glasgow a while
ago. I hardly ever start
a new project straight after buying a fabric. Usually, I need some time to get an idea of what
I actually want to make from it. I hate the thought that I could waste the fabric on something
I wouldn't like.
