How an armadillo became a wild lobster-cat
Spring has sprung and many pale Scots (and Poles) will soon look like lobsters. I didn't need the post-eclipse sunshine to achieve that body-armour look as I had just finished making my new Clyde Auditorium-inspired Armadillo pleather top (I showed you a different version a while ago). This time I used an open-ended, chunky metal zip on the back. Non-stretchy fabrics are different to work with and suitable fastening is essential.
Combine it with the faux fur, animal-print semi-circle skirt I made with material also from Remnant Kings and lo and behold you have a wild half-lobster, half-cat woman.
We came across this tiger face mural while walking along the banks of the River Clyde and thought it the perfect backdrop for a photo shoot.
I styled my new outfit with the vegan shoes by Vivienne Westwood for Melissa, Fiore fishnet tights and Karl Lagerfeld sunglasses.
