Full circle of flowers - and the top

Ever heard of creative avoidance? This is what happens when you are procrastinating about your graded unit at Glasgow Clyde College. The creative juices flow in another direction and these lovely fabrics (Remnant Kings) were tempting and teasing me from my work shelf. Here is the result of that coming together of two contrasting but equally sensual textiles.

While the top is black hounds tooth and the full circle skirt is of painted flowers in strong and deep colours, they are both from the same scuba fabric family. The skirt fabric is embodied in the top with little flower-bed patches on each shoulder.

The Mohito bag was a Christmas present from my mum while I was back in Poland and it matches perfectly. How lucky was that? Like the black and red flock Melissa shoes and Calzedonia stockings, it is vegan-friendly too.
