Who made your pants?

Have you ever wondered who made your pants? Well, I know now! Apparently it is not that difficult to find out if you order your pants from this company. Who Made Your Pants? is a campaigning lingerie brand based in Southampton, UK. You can read more in a section about on their website. It is great to see that ethical ethos is coming back to the apparel industry.

I just asked Santa to sign me up for A Year of Pants scheme. We will see if I was good enough this year, haha.

As you can see from the photo below, the pants come in a cardboard box, are wrapped in tissue paper and sealed with stickers. Every pair has a tag with the name of the person who made them. I also ordered a wee badge for my collection. The sweetie came as a gift.

I will be testing my pants on holiday soon, but I can already tell that the quality is very good. The care label says that the fabrics are upcycled. What does that mean? According to the website, fabrics are 'left over from big underwear factories at the end of season but in perfect condition'. More info about that can be found here.

Another thing from my pre-holiday shopping is this dry shampoo. I've heard some opinions about it and, because it is a cruelty-free product, I thought, why not? I might as well try. I like a variety of hair sprays, so maybe I will find this dry shampoo quite useful.

And I don't have to say how happy I was when I found out that Sainsbury's own brand shampoo and conditioner are cruelty-free too. Only £2 each. Hopefully they will do their job ;)
