Spring is here...

Well, maybe not exactly because the temperature is still not very springy. But living in Scotland taught me to be not very fussy about the weather. So, as long as it is not raining, the weather is... LOVELY.

Another happy and cheerful creation - semi-circle skirt. And another reason to visit Ikea from time to time for fabric hunting. You wouldn't get that print anywhere else. OK, maybe the skirt is a bit childish, but I am definitely going to wear it everywhere :D
I will need a nice petticoat, though, because I think the skirt would look much better with something underneath and wouldn't catch tights while walking.

Windy day - believe me or not

Of course, after seeing this photo, some people will know why I like this fabric so much - rabbits! Green is not my favourite color (I definitely wouldn't wear certain shades of green near to my peely wally - as they say in Scotland - face), but juicy green is very optimistic. To brighten up the Black Milk crop top, I wore green vintage beads that belonged to my mother in law.
And who noticef a lurking fox? ;)

I decided to udr a zip on the back as the fabric is quite plain near the seam. A green zip would have been better, but I only had a black concealed one and was determined to make the skirt that day.

On this photo, you can see what I mean about wearing petticoat underneath. Skirt would look more full and effective. Without it is just a bit flat.
And who did notice a lurking squirrel? ;)

As a souvenir from my walk along the river Clyde, I brought home one daffodil :)
